Hi friends! My name is Emily Nicole Coble and I live in North Carolina.

This lifestyle blog is a mixture of all things that make me who I am – hence the title, Emily Nicole. Here you’ll find bits of faith, family and fashion, mixed with stories of travels and adventures as a military wife and wedding photographer, marriage/relationship recommendations, and insight on #foreverlikethis.

I am a mixture of quiet and sass, stubborn and spontaneous, messy brunette curls, redeemed brokenness, and striving to reflect and love more like Christ did on the daily. I want to convey His image in everything I do and say.

I started journaling when I was a teenager and I actually began my first blog documenting some of the hardest years of my life. I'll spare you the horror of that messy little blog, but I can tell you that using it to tell my story with the world and the mission field it gave me was indescribable at that time in my life. I have written so many journals documenting my life, prayers, and thoughts over the last several years. Of course, I still love to write in those journals, but my digital storytelling has also become something I crave. We all have an unique story to share and that's why I started this new corner of the web in 2018.

I love walking barefoot in the summer, picking wildflowers, the smell of freshly mowed grass, and freshly baked cookies out of the oven. I’ve had the same best friends since kindergarten, and I've had the urge to get a specific tattoo for over two years now, but I'm too chicken to actually go get it done (my hubby is trying to change that soon). I care deeply and I can get very passionate and defensive if you say something about someone I love. I am especially fond of the ocean, sunflowers, antique shopping, cinnamon rolls, chasing fireflies, exploring outdoors, interior design, being intentional, golden hour, country roads, and Jesus.

On August 20th, 2017, I married my best friend, my love, and teammate for life – Conner Lee Coble. Before we got married, Conner and I endured a one year long-distance relationship after knowing each other for almost seven years prior.

Long story short, we met at the same youth group- he was a typical annoying teen boy and I was a slightly reserved girl. Obviously, at the time this held no interest for either of us, but over the next year we became good friends. We spent time together after youth group and during the week and a strong friendship was slowly cultivated. But, as most teens do, eventually we parted ways for a season as we went off to college.

However, God had another plan that would reunite us. After one year, Conner returned to our hometown. We began working at the same Chick-fil-A together and it wasn't long before he began to see me differently. He then made it a mission to test the waters to see if there was a chance, however small, that there might be more than friendship between us. Thus began the pursuit. Conner found every opportunity to spend time with just me during this time. Whether it was sitting together on break, working late so we would get off together, getting to my house before all our other friends did, whatever it took. And he CERTAINLY embarrassed himself more than a few times trying to flirt with me, but after awhile, I definitely didn't mind. Although, he feared his efforts were in vain as he was about to be shipping out to basic training with the Army and wouldn't be able to talk to me for two months.

Before he left, he asked if he could write letters to me while in he was at basic and I agreed. So, over the next two months, Conner poured his heart and soul into pieces of paper, making every pen stroke an attempt to continue to pursue me more, I replied back, and anxiously awaited the next one to arrive and drove my mailman crazy. He would also wait weeks to make a five minute phone call and called me every single time! I definitely didn't complain because I was slowly and then almost all at once falling fast for him.

Finally, after two months, basic graduation came and then we agreed it was time to officially date on May 26th, 2016, though we still had six more months before his training would be complete. One year and one day later; hundreds of Facetime calls, texts, letters, packages, flowers, plane tickets, weekend date nights, heart to hearts, and thousands of miles driven, I said "yes" to becoming Mrs. Coble on May 27th, 2017.

Fast forward a little less than three months, we said "I do" for life and we're now newlyweds relentlessly pursuing Jesus & each other as we navigate through the mountains and valleys of life together!  We couldn't be happier with how God beautifully orchestrated our story and pieced it together so perfectly!

Right after our honeymoon we moved to Fayetteville, NC where Conner is stationed with the Army.  We really hope to be able to travel more in the near future before we settle down one day and start growing our family, but we know it's all in God's hands.

I'm currently busy with wedding photography, ministry with Delight and Be, managing my personal Instagram account {@imemilynicole} and our joint marriage account {@foreverlikethis}, and keeping our fur-baby Theodore "Theo" Wyatt Coble out of trouble on the daily. We adopted him earlier this year on March 15th, 2018 and it was one of the best spontaneous decisions we've made so far!  He's an absolute mess, but he adds SO much to our little family.

That’s a bit about me, I hope you’re here to stay! If so, don’t forget to subscribe below!
