he holds fast.

Just something I came across in my quiet time today: 

"Because he holds fast to me in love, I will deliver him; I will protect him, because he knows my name. When he calls to me, I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him; with long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation." Psalm 91:14-16

Remember that wherever you go today, your mighty Savior is right alongside you.  Hold fast to His truth and strength. 

"simply take a breathe and start over.."

Embrace the uncertainty.  Allow it to lead you places.  Be brave as it challenges you to exercise both your heart and your mind as you create your own path toward happiness; don’t waste time with regret.

Spin wildly into your next action.

Enjoy the present, each moment, as it comes, because you’ll never get another one quite like it.

And if you should ever look up and find yourself lost, simply take a breath and start over.

Retrace your steps and go back to the purest place in your heart…where your hope lives.

You know those days when you think you've got it all figured out and then you get some "messy moments" throughout the day and turns things around?  It's been one of those days over here for me, but, you know what, it's these kinds of days that I love the most because it means I get to put my absolute complete trust in my Savior, and let Him go to work at figuring everything out in His own way.  I know that He knows what He's doing and I can rest in the fact that His ways are always way better than anything I could ever imagine.  He never fails to amaze me.  So incredibly thankful for His evidence in my life right now.

So many things; both awesome and exciting, and some incredibly difficult and challenging things have been occurring in my life this year. I've been trying to sort out all the messy parts of life and trying to also see the beauty in each season that God places me in this year. Life isn't perfect and I wouldn't change any of the challenges I've been faced with in the last few months for anything. Every little moment has helped me to grow stronger and become who I am today.

All of that said, I've decided that I'm ready to begin telling my story again in hopes that I can encourage at least one person walking in a similar season of life. I believe that life isn't meant to be walked alone and we all need community. I'm using this space to challenge myself to document the little things; whether that's photos from my week, or some of the real and raw moments in the mist of challenges that I'm faced with.

This is my blank slate; a fresh start and a brand new chapter to begin filling with pieces of my heart. I'm excited to see all that God has planned for this new little blog and I pray that it's an encouragement to you. I would be honored if you decided to follow along as I document the 'real' moments of this life that I've been so blessed with.

We're all here to tell our unique story and share it with others loudly and that is exactly what I'm going to do here.
